Malevolent Madness
Malevolent Madness is a first-person psychological horror and forensic mystery where fear comes from discovery, not cheap shocks. You are a specialized scientist abducted into the sealed facility of a disgraced professor whose work with time manipulation and quantum instability is tearing reality apart. The worst part isn’t what’s hiding in the dark—it’s the cold, testable logic behind what the professor has unleashed.
The time machine is real, and it’s already running. Inside the labyrinth of laboratories, maintenance passages, and contaminated chambers, survival is only the first step. To escape, you must investigate like a researcher: collect evidence, verify assumptions, and reconstruct the chain of experiments that led to the current collapse.
Core Gameplay
- Forensic collection: Recover biological samples, DNA markers, and technical artifacts from restricted areas. Each fragment expands your understanding of the machine and the consequences of its misuse.
- Scientific deduction puzzles: Progress requires correlating operational logs, failed test results, and anomalous readings. You’re not just finding items—you’re piecing together a functioning explanation and using it to act.
- Analytical narrative reconstruction: Documents, audio logs, and research notes form a larger equation. Study them to uncover the professor’s descent, the truth behind your abduction, and the ethical line he crossed.
- Strategic stealth and movement: A persistent, AI-controlled threat patrols the facility. There’s no direct confrontation; you must observe behavior, learn patterns, and use stealth with parkour-like traversal to stay ahead.
- Sensory investigation: Audio distortions, visual glitches, and environmental anomalies are clues and warnings—signals that timelines are destabilizing and the lab is slipping out of sync with reality.
Timelines are unraveling. Boundaries between universes are eroding. Can you solve the professor’s final equation, neutralize the system, and escape the experiment—or will you become another corrupted data point inside a machine built to devour worlds?
