My Little Puppy follows Bong-gu, a Welsh Corgi who once lived a hard life. With a docked tail that hints he was once loved, Bong-gu was later abandoned and spent his days in a shelter cage—an aging senior dog with illnesses and little hope of being adopted. Then a small miracle arrived: a slightly awkward, scruffy man chose him. Bong-gu recognized something important in him—his scent—and finally lived like any dog should: playing, running, eating well, and sleeping peacefully. When Bong-gu eventually crossed the rainbow bridge, he did so after a simple, joyful life.

In dog heaven, Bong-gu awakens from a nap to a familiar smell drifting in from somewhere beyond. It’s faint, but unmistakable: it’s Dad. Overwhelmed with excitement, Bong-gu slips away from dog heaven and sets out on a journey to find the person who once found him. This time, it’s Bong-gu’s turn to chase a miracle—even if the road ahead holds dangers he doesn’t yet understand.
