Hell Clock is a dark, fast-paced action roguelike set against the real tragedy of 19th-century Canudos, a settlement that became a refuge for thousands before being crushed by the new Republic—leaving roughly 25,000 dead. From this brutal backdrop, you step into a supernatural struggle for truth, justice, and memory.

You play as Pajeú, a hardened warrior descending into a nightmare to rescue the soul of The Counselor, your fallen mentor. His body was destroyed and his spirit imprisoned, and only relentless dives into a shifting hellscape can bring him back. With every descent, time bends, enemies grow more vicious, and your strength evolves—turning each run into both a desperate race and a chance to become something unstoppable.

Every second matters as you cut through undead forces shaped by oppression and silence. Push deeper and you’ll find greater rewards, but also face horrific manifestations of those who tried to erase Canudos and bury its story. The game’s tension comes from choosing when to risk it all: retreat with what you’ve earned, or gamble for loot that can redefine your build.
