Vox Populi: Canada 2025
Step into the spotlight of Canadian politics and fight for power in the federal election of 2025—or dive into alternative timelines where history takes a different turn. Vox Populi: Canada 2025 is a strategy and political simulation where victory depends on your ideas, your organisation, and your ability to read the electorate better than your rivals.
Play as an existing political figure or build a leader from scratch with a deep character creator. Shape your identity with ideologies, traits, and personal strengths, then assemble a campaign team from a wide roster of characters—pre-made or procedurally generated—each bringing their own perspectives and advantages.
Canada is represented through a detailed map of regions and demographic groups, each with distinct characteristics and political leanings. Target specific communities, shift public opinion, and influence voting intentions through flexible actions and strategic choices. Your opponents won’t stand still: adapt to their moves, counter their messaging, and place obstacles in their path while navigating a political landscape full of unexpected twists.
Campaigns are driven by a large pool of events, debates, and decisions. Collect and play cards to gain an edge in major national debates, and track evolving statistics to refine your strategy as the electorate changes. Beyond day-to-day campaigning, you can also shape the rules of the game itself by influencing and organising national referendums—from electoral changes to territorial questions and laws that can strengthen your position.
Your ultimate goal is to secure enough seats in the House of Commons to control Canada’s direction. Form alliances through a robust parliament and coalition system based on ideology, or pursue divisive paths such as strengthening national unity or pushing provincial independence—potentially even the independence of Quebec or southwestern provinces.
With 10 varied scenarios (many featuring randomisation for replayability), over 120 unique events, dozens of traits and ideologies, 50 debate cards, and up to 90 referendums, each playthrough offers new challenges. Prefer something wilder? Explore sci-fi and post-apocalyptic scenarios with their own characters, rules, and conflicts—where you might even campaign as an alien or humanity’s last defender.
