Choose your party from six starting classes, each with a distinct identity and battlefield role: Banner Spear, Boneshaper, Drifter, Geminate, Blinkblade, and Deathwalker. As the campaign unfolds, additional classes can be unlocked, expanding your options and encouraging experimentation. Success depends on building strong synergies, mastering your class mechanics, and adapting to new threats.

Combat is driven by a deep ability card system that forces meaningful decisions every turn. Select actions carefully to set up combos, control positioning, and manage stamina while facing fresh enemy types and formidable bosses. The difficulty remains challenging, but approachable thanks to difficulty modes that can be tailored to your skill level, plus improved UX and quality-of-life features that streamline play without sacrificing depth.

Between battles, you’ll build and manage your outpost, constructing and upgrading buildings to unlock new mechanics and strengthen your foothold in the wilderness. Resource management becomes a core pillar of advancement, tying your tactical performance to the broader campaign’s momentum.
