Engine Eternal is a cooperative survival scavenging game set in the shattered remnants of the Old World. You play as a survivor who boards a mysterious train—the Engine Eternal—said to have the power to carry humanity’s last hope toward Paradise. The journey is dangerous, uncertain, and fueled by the choices you and your crew make at every stop.

Travel with up to 3 other survivors as the train pushes through ruined landscapes and forgotten settlements. Along the route, you’ll disembark at multiple locations to explore abandoned structures, search for supplies, and bring back what you can before it’s too late. Every outing is a risk, and every return trip to the train is a chance to keep moving forward.

The Engine is everything.

It powers the entire train and determines whether your expedition continues or ends. Fuel management is the core of survival: fuel isn’t just used to reach the next destination—it can also be spent to operate essential onboard systems. Stockpile enough and you can run the fabricator, restore damaged gear with the suit repair machine, and even activate advanced technology capable of reanimating fallen teammates. Every unit of fuel becomes a strategic decision: save it to travel, spend it to recover, or invest it to prepare for what’s ahead.

During scavenging runs, you’ll uncover raw materials hidden among the ruins. These can be recycled into fuel for immediate needs, but there’s another option: use them to upgrade the Engine. Enhancing the train opens access to more dangerous destinations—areas with higher risk, but potentially greater rewards and the means to push closer to your goal.

The Old World is filled with silent reminders of what once was: houses, bunkers, and abandoned facilities packed with leftovers worth fighting for. But you are not alone. Stay quiet, stay alert, and stay in contact with your team as you explore—because whatever still lurks in these forgotten places won’t welcome you.
