Lost Luminosity is a first-person psychological horror experience built around a linear, story-driven journey. It places you in a confined, intimate setting where every room feels heavy with memory, and every detail may hide a piece of the truth.

Story

You play as Sam, struggling to understand the sudden collapse of his family. His mother died shortly after being discharged from a psychiatric hospital, and the questions left behind are worse than the grief: What triggered her descent? Was it illness, something done to her, or something in the home itself? As Sam searches for answers, he begins to suspect that someone—or something—may be responsible for what happened.

Gameplay

The game centers on exploration inside an apartment, where you piece together events through the environment and uncover the past step by step. As you move deeper into the story, you’ll discover what truly happened, trace the fate of your father, and come closer to understanding the roots of your mother’s psychological disorders. The narrative also reflects on social and family issues, offering an outside perspective on the protagonist and the world that shaped him.
