Overview

Toricky is a retro-inspired action-adventure platformer built around fast flying and physics. You guide two intrepid birds, Toricky and Momo, on a quest to the legendary Crystar Palace to uncover the fate of its mysterious jewels. The palace should buzz with life, but it sits silent, and your journey will uncover the truth through exploration, daring flight, and clever play.

Exploration

Non-linear, huge stages are divided into areas where interactive environments and flight-based traversal open every corner. Fly across a giant fortress ringed by psychedelic mushrooms, dive into heavenly waters filled with piranha, and maneuver through environments that reward precision and curiosity. Toricky’s aerial abilities let you reach hidden paths, switches, and secrets that would be inaccessible to ground-bound heroes.

Battles

You won’t carry conventional weapons. Instead, Toricky’s super strength turns the world into your arsenal—even a pebble can become a deadly tool in capable hands. Pirates roam the region, creating tense confrontations that test timing and positioning as you navigate aerial combat and environmental dangers.

Puzzles & Reflection

Numerous puzzles block your path and demand smart use of flight, wind, and surroundings. Observe enemy patterns and terrain quirks, then leverage the environment to advance. The game blends action with cerebral challenges to keep you thinking as you soar.

Bosses & Mystery

Expect gigantic screen-filling bosses that require unique strategies. Face foes like a towering giant robot, study their movements, identify weaknesses, and strike with precision. Along the way, you may meet a princess whose mystical powers govern the Crystar Palace, and she can be a powerful ally on your journey.

Audio, Story & Languages

The soundtrack features compositions by Hiroki Kikuta and Dale North, weaving fantasy textures with traditional Japanese instruments to evoke Toricky’s whimsical world. Story dialogues are fully voiced in Japanese, with support for English and French.
