Tunnel

In Tunnel, you step into the boots of a man who was desperate enough to take a strange, well-paid job without asking too many questions. You’re hired on the spot, handed a list of routine—but critical—responsibilities, and sent into the subway after hours. The assignment sounds straightforward: locate malfunctions in the tunnel network, repair electrical systems, inspect equipment, and keep the underground running while the city sleeps.

At first, it feels like a normal night shift. The rails hum in the distance, dim lamps cast thin pools of light, and the station’s familiar structure offers a cautious sense of order. But the deeper you travel into maintenance corridors and forgotten stretches of track, the more that order begins to crack. Lights flicker for no clear reason. Footsteps echo behind you—yet no one is there. Unexplained noises rise from the darkness, and unsettling sights begin to creep into view.

Is it exhaustion playing tricks on you? A mind strained by isolation and pressure? Or is the subway concealing something that was never meant to be found?

Presented in an atmospheric pixel-art style, Tunnel blends nostalgic visuals with an oppressive, uneasy mood. There are no bright hints or comforting guidance systems—just your observation, your instincts, and the careful choices you make as you navigate the underground. Exploration is tense and deliberate: each area can hide danger, and every decision carries weight.

Expect a compact experience focused on exploration and survival elements, where the environment itself feels like an adversary. Your job is to keep systems working, but staying safe—and staying sane—may become the real challenge.

Built as a small yet heartfelt project, Tunnel aims to deliver a tightly focused descent into a place that grows stranger with every step forward.
