Noosphere is a third-person mystery adventure focused on exploration, platforming, and puzzle-solving across two intertwined realities. You play as a child who awakens inside a secretive laboratory with no memories—only a strange ability: the power to enter the minds of others. With the institute hiding the truth and your own past locked away, you’ll use this psychic talent to uncover what happened, piece by piece.
Enter minds, uncover secrets
Each character you meet carries a themed inner world shaped by their thoughts, fears, and memories. By stepping into these mental spaces, you can discover hidden clues, investigate objects that don’t exist—or don’t behave the same—in reality, and solve puzzles tied directly to the character and the institute’s mysteries.
Two worlds, one investigation
Progress depends on moving between the real world and the psychic world. At first glance, they may resemble the same location, but their structures and details differ. A hallway might lead somewhere new, a familiar room may be distorted, and ordinary items can reveal entirely different meanings. Careful observation—and comparing what changes between worlds—is essential to finding evidence and unlocking the next step of the story.
Clues, puzzles, and exploration
You’ll search environments, interact with NPCs, and examine suspicious objects to collect information. Puzzles are built around noticing inconsistencies, connecting evidence, and using what you learn in one world to make progress in the other. Exploration is not just optional—it’s how you reconstruct the truth behind the institute and your missing memories.
Choices that shape the outcome
Noosphere features branching story paths driven by your decisions. Dialogue choices, investigations, and how you respond to characters can change their reactions, reveal new information, and open or close key leads. These branching points ripple forward, affecting the direction of the narrative and the child’s future.
Multiple endings
Your actions determine how the mystery concludes. With multiple endings and replayable paths, returning to the game can reveal new developments, hidden truths, and alternate perspectives on what really happened inside the institute.
