Choose from four distinct Battle Units, each built for a different playstyle and strategy. Command a unit specialized in rapid fire and constant pressure, switch to a model focused on piercing shots and raw destructive power, or take control of a unit that relies on indirect tactics like wall shots and missiles. Learning each unit’s strengths and limitations is key, and the best approach can change depending on the situation.

Power up mid-run by collecting Orbs dropped by defeated aliens. Your unit starts out vulnerable, but these pickups provide temporary boosts such as increased firing speed, faster movement, higher damage, and more. Choosing which orbs to prioritize and when to take risks for them can be the difference between survival and defeat.

Grow stronger over time at the Space Hangar. Defeating enemies rewards you with Alien Materia, a currency used to unlock new weapons and apply permanent upgrades to your units. The more you fight, the more options you gain—turning early struggles into future victories as you build a stronger arsenal and refine your preferred setup.

Push your skills with speedrun challenges. After fully upgrading your units, aim to clear the campaign as quickly as possible. A typical completion time is around 20–25 minutes, but with optimized routing and sharpened tactics, a clear under 15 minutes is within reach for determined pilots.
