Crossings is a VR roguelite set in a haunting Norse afterlife where death, memory, and myth reshape the world around you. You awaken cold and weaponless in a living forest of sap and shifting roots—an ever-changing realm that watches, remembers, and tests what you become.

Fight and explore through runs that constantly evolve. Paths fold into new directions, caves open where they weren’t, and familiar places return altered. Each attempt pushes you deeper into the unknown, and each death becomes part of your progress—unlocking new story branches, new discoveries, and new ways to endure what waits in the dark.

Seamless, wordless co-op defines Crossings. There are no lobbies, no menus, no usernames, and no voice chat. Instead, other players can naturally appear in the same world as you. Communicate through movement, attention, and combat instinct. Stand together in silence, split apart, or stay close—your journeys intertwine when your paths cross, amplifying what each of you brings, while your destiny remains your own.

Physical VR combat puts your body at the center of every encounter. Block, dodge, counter, and strike in real time, feeling the weight and timing of each swing. Build your approach from a growing arsenal of weapons and variants, including swords, axes, clubs, and bows. Switch fluidly between melee, ranged shots, and spellcasting as the situation demands.

Gesture-based magic expands your options with elemental powers you can upgrade throughout a run. Cast fire, ice, roots, lightning, poison, and wind, then chain spells into weapon combos and effects to control the battlefield and turn desperate fights into victories.

Strategy and builds matter as much as reflexes. Manage resources and shape your run with potions, trinkets, and modifiers that alter damage, status effects, elemental power, loot rarity, mana regeneration, spell behavior, enemy spawns, and world conditions. Some upgrades are safe and reliable; others are unpredictable and risky—stack them wisely or embrace the chaos.

Between runs, choose a starting weapon, equip your outfit, and select an altar offering that grants a unique modifier—often with a tradeoff. In Crossings, every run is a new myth, every meeting is a silent pact, and every Crossing is yours alone.
