Paradox Protocol is a sci-fi survival and exploration game set in a hostile, fractured dimension where every decision matters. You play as an operative pushed beyond the edge of reality, forced to scavenge, craft, and fight to stay alive while uncovering what went wrong—and how to get home.

Available now in Early Access, the game currently features the Left Behind (Stranded) mode as a playable single-player experience, with a multiplayer build in production. You’ll explore dangerous environments, gather resources, and build up a defensible base while being hunted by enemy entities that can spot you, chase you, and attack—while also attempting to search for you if they lose sight.

Play solo now, co-op planned

Paradox Protocol is designed for both single-player and co-op gameplay. Multiplayer is currently disabled due to matchmaking/server discovery issues, but the team is actively working to restore it so players can tackle modes together.

Planned modes and content

At full release, Paradox Protocol is planned to include four major modes, releasing in stages throughout Early Access:

• Story Mode (Campaign) — A multi-act narrative playable solo or in co-op (up to 6 players), with scaling difficulty and puzzle adjustments for group play.
• Left Behind (Stranded) Mode — A survival-focused experience with expanded mechanics such as base building and additional stats like hunger, thirst, and temperature.
• Requisition Mode — Explore a large procedurally generated map to collect valuable crystals, meet a quota, and extract. Surplus rewards support progression, gear upgrades, and loadout customization.
• Tactical Operations Mode — A catalogue of scored missions and objective-based scenarios that run parallel to the campaign, expanding the world with additional stories and challenges.
