Anomaly Rooms

You wake up inside an abandoned school classroom where reality doesn’t follow rules. The room bends, objects shift when you look away, and unseen forces watch your every move. You’re trapped in a looping nightmare, and the only way out is to notice what shouldn’t be there—or what suddenly isn’t. Every decision matters, because the classroom reacts, adapts, and sets traps meant to confuse, mislead, and kill you.

Anomaly Rooms is a psychological observation game built around attention, memory, and mounting dread. You must carefully study the classroom and memorize its details: furniture placement, small objects, sounds, and the overall “normal” state. Each cycle challenges you to detect anomalies—ranging from subtle changes to blatant distortions of reality. Miss one, and you may pay for it.

Core features

  • Attention & memory challenge: learn the room, then spot changes under pressure.
  • Anomaly hunting: find new objects, disappearances, unexpected sounds, and warped details.
  • Eerie atmosphere: a deserted classroom, chilling audio, and a constant sense of being watched.
  • Unpredictable traps: your actions can trigger events that alter the course of the loop.
  • Story through notes: uncover what happened here and why you’re trapped.
  • One exit, many paths: not every correct-looking choice leads to freedom.

How it works

After observing the room, you’ll find a green and red piece and place one into the “Exit” sign. If everything seems normal, insert the green piece. If you notice any anomaly—visual changes, missing items, new objects, strange sounds—insert the red piece. Once you commit, a lock code appears; enter it into the lock to progress.

There’s a strict rule: don’t take items into the corridor. Toys, lamps, chairs, desks—everything must remain in the classroom, or the exit won’t open. Survive the classroom’s attempts to deceive you, keep making the right calls, collect the green “Exit” sign, and break the loop before the room breaks you.
