You play as Six, a lone child who awakens in a damp, pitch-dark room with only a brass lighter and no memory of how she arrived. She is trapped inside the Maw, a massive metal vessel crawling with dangerous, distorted adult figures known as the Residents. Escape is the only goal—but failure carries consequences far worse than you want to imagine.

Survival depends on observation, stealth, and quick thinking. Carefully read your surroundings, spot paths forward, and use your small size as an advantage. The Maw isn’t built for children, yet that vulnerability becomes a weapon: crawl through tight passageways, climb furniture, and slip into spaces too small for your pursuers—safe, at least for a moment.

When the Residents are near, staying alive means staying quiet. Hide, move cautiously, and create distractions to redirect attention. Noise can be deadly, and once you’ve been noticed, the hunt becomes relentless.
