Agents of Shadow is a merciless survival horror RPG crawler set in the Folded World, a twisted parallel universe where real-world urban legends stalk the lost. Step into the nightmare as Lee, a daring YouTuber, and Nyx, her enigmatic partner bound by a dark pact with Seth, the Folded World’s master. You enter on a debt—and may leave only through sacrifice, betrayal, or death.

Time is your lifeblood. Every mission unfolds under a brutal 49-minute ritual countdown inspired by the Seven Mirrors. Failures steal precious minutes, and relentless pursuers can strike on a fixed rhythm, forcing you to choose between exploration, rescue, and escape. In this world, death isn’t always the end—if you still have time left to bargain.

Explore a shifting labyrinth of 85 adaptive maps with randomized layouts, events, items, and enemy placements. The Folded World learns: frequently visited areas can alter monster behavior, weather, atmosphere, and sound, keeping each descent unpredictable and tense. You’ll face horrors inspired by global myths and modern nightmares, including the Bogeyman, Bloody Mary (Hanako), Jiangshi, and the endless corridors of the Backrooms.

Turn-based combat meets desperate survival. Battles are tactical, but fighting is often the worst option—an unwanted consequence of being cornered. Manage limited skill charges tied to equipment, exploit elemental weaknesses, and adapt to enemies that can punish mistakes brutally. Master over 100 skills and equip from 50+ items, but remember: sometimes the only winning move is to run, hide, or outsmart what cannot be killed.

Insanity is a weapon—and a curse. Your sanity level dynamically changes damage output: flirting with madness can empower you, while crossing the line can cripple your effectiveness. This creates a constant risk-reward tension where every action can pull you closer to collapse.

Make choices you can’t take back. Each 49-minute phase forces a harsh decision—rescue survivors or sacrifice them. Nyx’s pact demands a final moral reckoning: give yourself to free him, or betray the one who saved you.
