Deadcam
Deadcam is a first-person psychological survival horror set inside a sealed, rural abandoned house deep in the wilderness. You and two other amateur ghost hunters from the struggling paranormal TV show The Ghoul Hunters lock yourselves in to film an episode that could save your ratings. Desperation turns into disaster almost immediately—and the house becomes a trap.
Something is very wrong with your crew member Margo. The producer, Dom, panics and flees, sealing the exit to keep her contained—leaving you behind with the one thing you can’t afford to meet in the dark. Margo’s head-mounted camera is still broadcasting, and you’re forced to watch a reactive live-feed facecam of the very presence hunting you.
Your objective is simple: run, hide, and escape. Staying alive is harder. Noise matters—creaking floorboards and careless movement can give you away, and Margo can hear you. As you navigate the house, her on-screen face reacts to your actions, turning every moment of tension into something uncomfortably personal. You aren’t just being chased—you’re being observed.
Key Features
- Live headcam feed: see Margo’s reactive face throughout gameplay.
- Stealth-driven survival: sneak, listen, and use hiding spots to avoid detection.
- Sound sensitivity: movement and environmental noise can attract danger.
- Tracking tools: discover mechanics that help locate Margo—like a Receiver that emits a pulsing light and beep from her headcam, and a Tablet that displays a larger, clearer real-time view of the feed.
- Secrets and collectibles: find notes, hidden items, and surprises tucked away in the house.
And then there’s the warning you’ll hear again and again: trust the Raccoon. In a place where doors are sealed, reality feels unstable, and your only window into the threat is a haunted camera feed, that odd ally might be the only thing pointing you toward the way out.
Photosensitivity notice: includes occasional mild slow flashes, lightning-like effects, and VHS-style visual distortion.
