Doomfields is an autobattler roguelite built around smart team composition, layered progression, and a constant stream of meaningful upgrades. Your mission is simple to say and hard to master: assemble a squad capable of reaching Doomfields—and pushing beyond.

Each run unfolds across a map of rooms. When you enter a room, you’ll usually fight, then sit back and watch your strategy play out as your team battles automatically. Success comes from the decisions you make between fights: shaping a squad whose roles, abilities, and synergies can adapt to whatever the run throws at you.

At the start, you choose one of three core archetypes:

• Fighter
• Rogue
• Mystic

Progression is deep and highly customizable. At level 10, each archetype branches into three sub-archetypes designed for distinct playstyles and ability kits (for example, the Fighter can evolve into Warrior, Knight, or Guard). At level 20, you make another major choice based on your previous path—expanding the possibilities even further. Over time, you can build a full team of up to five characters, gaining a new member each stage and tailoring every addition to complement the rest of your lineup.

This creates a massive build space: 3 main archetypes → 9 sub-archetypes → 27 advanced variants, each with unique mechanics and tactical identity. The challenge is finding the right combination—damage, defense, control, support, and utility—so your team functions as a cohesive machine rather than five isolated units.

Beyond classes, your power comes from loot and run modifiers. Discover epic items that enhance specific abilities or bring abilities of their own. Equip keepsakes that provide team-wide benefits, and refine your approach with guidelines and tactics that influence how your squad behaves in combat. Every run becomes a puzzle of optimization: what to prioritize, what to sacrifice, and when to pivot.

When you’re ready to test your builds, Doomfields also features asynchronous PvP, letting you battle other players’ teams and prove your composition can stand against real strategies.
