Catharage is a space tactics roguelite where you serve as the navigator and protector of the Catharage station—an enduring city in the void. Countless enemies push toward its downfall, and your task is simple to state and hard to achieve: venture into the unknown, grow stronger, and eliminate threats before they reach home.

Command a single ship, make every decision count

You pilot one large ship at a time, outfitting it with weapons and modules to fight, outmaneuver, or evade enemies. Explore space, take on missions for the station, and collect randomly generated loot that can be equipped for power or scrapped for currency. Every engagement is a risk: die and the run is lost—but return to Catharage in time and your earned rewards are secured.

Progress between runs

Credits and recovered resources fuel long-term growth. Use them to upgrade and unlock new ships, hire fleet members, or purchase one-time bonuses that help you push into harsher regions. Over time, you also gain access to global improvements that increase your overall capability while preserving the tense, run-based stakes.
