GODBREAKERS is a fast, high-expression action roguelite where precision and creativity matter as much as raw power. Built around fluid movement and spectacle combat, it invites new players in with approachable controls while rewarding mastery through techniques like animation cancelling, dashes, and aerial mobility. Every fight is a chance to sharpen your timing, chain abilities, and turn chaos into control.

Humanity is almost gone. An AI created to perfect the world instead erased it—now it consumes planets, and the Sun is next. As the Coven’s final weapon, you’ll push through surreal worlds to reignite the last spark of mankind.

Steal powers mid-fight

The core twist: every major enemy is a source of new abilities. Tear powers out of foes during combat and weave them into devastating Godbroke attacks. The more you experiment, the more your run becomes a personalized toolkit of stolen skills, tight combos, and explosive finishers.

Solo skill or co-op chaos (1–4 players)

Play solo to refine your execution, or jump into 1–4 player online co-op for structured chaos. Coordinate cooldowns, stack synergies, and amplify each other’s builds to bring down threats that demand teamwork. Build a squad where each member’s strengths cover the others—then unleash coordinated mayhem.

Six surreal biomes, ever-shifting runs

Fight through 6 distinct biomes, each with its own enemies, hazards, and challenges. Runs stay fresh with shifting layouts and unpredictable encounters that force adaptation. Add even more variety by selecting run modifiers that remix gameplay and push you into new strategies.

Bosses worth learning

Face memorable, multi-phase bosses with distinct personalities, unique mechanics, and spectacular attacks. These encounters test reflexes, spacing, and team coordination—especially when the arena turns hostile and the fight evolves mid-battle.

Buildcraft, Archetypes, and progression

Unlock and experiment with Archetypes, each offering their own weapons and traits. Collect powerful items, customize your look and abilities, and shape your identity run by run. Beyond a single attempt, grow stronger through permanent unlocks of characters, abilities, and upgrades.
