Solar Defense is a sci‑fi tower defense strategy game set in the year 2670, when humanity’s outward expansion has pushed beyond the inner system and into the moons of Jupiter.

The HEC (Human‑Earth Coalition) has established footholds on the Moon, Venus, and Mars and begun scouting farther into the stars. Strange readings around Io reveal a startling truth: a spacefaring humanoid civilization known as the Pilakarr, organized under the PPU (Pilakarrian Planetary Union), with a home world on Io and an outer colony on Europa.

What should have become peaceful cooperation collapses into conflict. An attempted trade agreement ends in disaster after a mistranslation, and an HEC trade caravan is attacked. The incident ignites a full-scale war between the HEC and the PPU. The Pilakarr strike fast and hard, launching an assault on Mars and capturing the Martian capital, New Olympus, within weeks. Now, as enemy forces prepare to bring the war to Earth, the HEC’s commanders need a leader who can hold the line.

In Solar Defense, you take command of humanity’s defenses in a classic tower defense experience focused on tactical decision-making and battlefield control. Build and position defensive structures, anticipate attack routes, and choose the right towers for the right threats as you repel waves of invading Pilakarrian forces. Every placement matters: success depends on planning, adapting your strategy, and maintaining a strong defensive network under pressure.

Victory isn’t only about surviving the assault. You’ll also launch counteroffensives, pushing back against the PPU and taking the fight to enemy territory. Balance defense and aggression as you progress through a linear, story-driven campaign that spans Earth and its colonies, following humanity’s desperate stand to protect its capital and restore stability to the Solar System.
