Game Description: Who Must Die

In Who Must Die, you step into the shoes of a replacement doctor faced with a harrowing ethical dilemma. Tasked with identifying which of the three patients is contaminated, your choices will dictate the outcome of their lives. With a variety of experiments at your disposal, you can gather information to make your decision. Alternatively, you have the option to enlist help from a guard to carry out your grim duty.

The essence of the game lies in the tough choices you face: will you choose one patient to sacrifice, or will you opt for the hardest choice of all—refusing to choose? This immersive simulation draws inspiration from escape room mechanics, emphasizing the weight of your decisions and their consequences. Players are encouraged to explore, investigate, and ultimately confront the dire results of their actions.

Originally created during the Epic Game Jam of November 2015 and awarded first prize, the game has since evolved into a richer, replayable experience, backed by a passionate team of five French students. Enjoy the challenges and moral quandaries presented in Who Must Die.
