Drowning Ashes is a turn-based RPG monster collector set in the cursed ruins of a fallen Capital—an unforgiving, souls-like world where every fight can be your last, and where (almost) every enemy you face can become an ally.

Choose from five playable heroes and build your squad from 40+ recruitable monsters, each with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and equipment options. Your choices matter: the wrong allies or loadout can turn a single encounter into a disaster, while smart preparation can let you overcome impossible odds.

Combat rewards planning and mastery. Study enemies, identify their vulnerabilities, and exploit weaknesses to earn additional turns and keep momentum on your side. Equip powerful items that grant unique skills, customize your team’s roles, and develop a lineup of ferocious monsters capable of standing against deadly bosses and relentless fiends.

The world is as dangerous as it is intriguing. Explore a dying land filled with shortcuts, hidden paths, and secrets buried beneath ash and ruin. Rest at Wellsprings to restore your healing flasks before pressing deeper into hostile territory, and gather the remnants of fallen foes to temper their Ashes into mighty weapons.
