This Is Why We Don't Play Golf description
This Is Why We Don’t Play Golf
This Is Why We Don’t Play Golf is a chaotic co-op physics platformer disguised as a golf game. Your mission sounds simple: get a golf ball to the top of a bizarre mountain, one swing at a time. In reality, gravity is your main opponent, every ledge is a gamble, and every confident “I got it!” is usually a lie.
Instead of a calm fairway, you’ll be launching your ball through a vertical obstacle course of platforms, walls, ceilings, and hazards—where every surface can be the perfect shot… or the reason you fall all the way back down. It’s precision, improvisation, and pure chaos, packed into a climb that rewards clever angles and punishes overconfidence.
Play Solo or Co-op (2 Players)
Go it alone and test your patience, or bring a friend and double the disaster. In 2-player co-op, you can help each other… or accidentally (or “accidentally”) hit each other into the abyss. The mountain has room for two, and it’s always ready to turn teamwork into blame.
Physics-Driven Mayhem
The golf ball has a cruel sense of humor. Momentum, rebounds, and unpredictable bounces create moments that feel like genius when they work—and like betrayal when they don’t. The game embraces chaos: the line between bug, mechanic, and creative solution is up to you. If you can make it work, it works.
Multiple Regions, Unique Hazards
Climb through multiple distinct regions, each with its own hazards and layout tricks designed to challenge your timing, aim, and ability to recover from catastrophic mistakes. Progress is earned, but losing it is always one bad swing away.
How Long to Reach the Top?
A successful hike can take 2–4 hours if you’re sharp and consistent. Expect 8+ hours if you’re learning, experimenting, or playing with that one friend who turns every plan into a physics experiment.
Falling is part of the fun. Probably.
