Turnbound is a fast, chaotic strategic autobattler built around experimentation, theorycrafting, and mastery. You’re trapped in a haunted board game, trying to outsmart rival players by drafting and deploying tiles, heroes, and items that forge powerful synergies. Each session is an asynchronous PvP challenge: you head into battles against the builds left behind by others, using a grid-based inventory where every tile you place causes a ripple of effects across future encounters. The objective is to design a layout that endures the trials and climbs the Final Chamber leaderboard.

You draft and place weapon, item, and trinket tiles to unlock combos and push your Hero along a branching ability path. Each tournament round you curate your grid by choosing which tiles to buy, upgrade, deploy, or sell. By arranging tiles thoughtfully you create tactical synergies that generate rewarding cause-and-effect loops, rewarding foresight, planning, and creative experimentation. Watch your own loadouts clash against the echoes of other players’ strategies, then replay or study the outcomes with built-in playback tools to understand how your choices shaped the fight and how to adjust next time. Every choice affects future rounds, creating a tense economy where you balance risk and reward, adapting as tiles level up or fall behind and you seek new synergies.

Progress through six Chambers of progress toward the Final Chamber Leaderboard. Collect and customize your experience: three Heroes, dozens of trinkets and abilities, and hundreds of items. As you advance you’ll unlock new tiles, items, and cosmetics to personalize your board, profile, rug, and tile aesthetics. In addition to the core campaign, Duels let you challenge a specific build by entering a simple code, while you can also test yourself against a friend’s strategy.
