Dragon and Tiger Party description

Dragon and Tiger Party

Dragon and Tiger Party is a fast, turn-based card battle game built around simple controls and clever mind games. Matches are designed to be quick (about 5–10 minutes), making it easy to jump in for a short session while still offering plenty of tactical choices.

The battlefield is a 4×4 grid containing 16 face-down cards: 8 Dragon and 8 Tiger. Each camp has cards numbered 1 to 8, but the ranking is unusual: 1 is the strongest and 8 is the weakest—with one special twist: 8 defeats 1. In other words, combat follows the rule 1 > 2 > … > 8, plus the counter rule 8 > 1. If two cards with the same number fight, both are removed.

At the beginning, every card is hidden. The first reveal determines team ownership:

  • Single-player: the first camp you reveal becomes yours; the AI controls the other.
  • Two-player: Player 1 reveals first and takes that camp; Player 2 automatically gets the opposite camp.
Once revealed, a card is locked to its camp—your opponent can’t move your pieces.

On your turn, gameplay is straightforward: select one of your revealed cards to bring up four direction controls, then move it one step into an empty space. If you move into an enemy-occupied space, a battle triggers automatically. The winner remains on the board and takes the space; the losing card disappears. You can also choose to Skip if you don’t want to move.

Play solo against a smart AI that pressures key pieces, avoids threats, and blocks routes—or compete in fair two-player mode where outcomes depend entirely on the players’ decisions and the unfolding reveals.

The game ends once all cards have been revealed and one side has no cards left: eliminate all opponent cards to win, or finish with no cards on either side for a draw. A clear end message appears at the top, and you can hit Restart to begin a fresh match. Battle animations and sound effects keep every clash satisfying and easy to follow.
