Drop onto planetoids and begin harvesting rare minerals to boost your progress and push your chosen clan up the ranks. Every expedition is a risk-reward run: drill deeper for better loot, defend yourself from attackers, and decide when it’s time to call for extraction.

Minerals You Can See (and Lose)

In Joltstone, the minerals you collect don’t vanish into an inventory—they visibly accumulate on your rig as you work. This creates a unique tactical twist:

• Hoarded crystals become protection by acting like extra armor, effectively giving you a mineral shield.
• Taking damage can knock minerals off, forcing you to choose between staying in the fight or retreating before you drop your earnings.
• Turn defense into offense by leveraging your mineral shield when attacking enemy bases.

Between missions, return to your ship and align with a clan. Complete missions, drill minerals, and earn rank faster to unlock new rewards for your faction.
