Operation: Outbreak is a short, intense first-person survival horror FPS set in the war-torn city of Karzekistan, now overrun by fast, relentless undead. After your squad’s vehicle is destroyed during a routine patrol, you awaken as Nomad—the sole survivor—with one objective: reach the extraction point on the far side of the city before the outbreak claims you.

With communications down, your only lifeline is the voice on the radio: Sentinel, your squad’s coordinator, guiding you through collapsing streets and deeper dangers. The surface is swarming with infected, and the only viable route may be through dark, narrow underground tunnels where visibility is low and every sound feels close.

Combat is tense and survival-focused. You start with only a pistol, and supplies are scarce. Ammunition, healing items, and night vision are limited, forcing careful aim and smart decision-making. Large hordes can overwhelm you in seconds, turning every encounter into a tactical choice: fight, conserve, reposition, or push forward before you’re surrounded.

The world is built for cinematic immersion: derelict buildings, abandoned streets, and flickering lights create constant suspense as you move through a decaying urban landscape. Below ground, tight corridors and suffocating darkness test your nerves and awareness. The journey builds toward a final desperate run across a zombie-infested bridge to reach the landing zone where extraction awaits—if you can hold on long enough.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, Operation: Outbreak delivers a focused 10–20 minute horror shooter experience designed to be replayed for cleaner runs, better resource management, and sharper survival instincts. Originally created as a final exam project by DREADMITH Games, it blends adrenaline-fueled action with survival horror tension in a compact, high-impact mission.
