Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 is a thrilling return to roots from Koji Igarashi and Inti Creates, delivering a captivating blend of retro sword-and-whip action along with a dark, 8-bit aesthetic. This sequel brings back the beloved multiple-scenario structure, enhanced by a new epic storyline overseen by Igarashi himself. Players assume the role of Zangetsu, a skilled swordsman driven by vengeance against demonkind and the alchemists responsible for their torment.
As Zangetsu journeys towards the demonic stronghold, he is not alone. He can recruit a brand-new roster of characters, including the exorcist Dominique, each adding unique abilities and gameplay mechanics. All characters from the original game are also playable, ensuring varied ways to overcome challenges in diverse stages.
For the first time in the series, 2-player local co-op enables players to join forces, strategically combining the abilities of two characters to tackle stages in innovative and exciting ways.
