Developer Daily description
Developer Daily
Developer Daily is a first/third-person life-and-management game where you try to survive in the city while building a successful game development company. Your daily routine matters: you’ll need money for food, sleep, rent, and bills, and every decision you make affects how fast you can grow from a struggling creator into a studio owner.
Survive, Earn, Upgrade
In the beginning, survival comes first. Earn cash by taking practical jobs like working as a courier or by selling the assets you produce on your old computer. As your income improves, you can buy different houses around the city and furnish them with better items, creating a more comfortable space that supports your workflow.
Build Your Studio Your Way
Your main objective is to manage a game company. You can choose to become a one-person developer by improving yourself with online certificates, or you can hire professionals and assign tasks across a team. Prefer multiplayer? You can also run the same company together with your real-life friends, sharing responsibilities and decisions.
Flexible Game Creation
Unlike many game-dev simulators, Developer Daily doesn’t lock you into a single development formula. You have broad freedom to decide what your game includes—but success depends on matching your plans to your team’s skills and paying attention to what’s trending in the market. Sometimes, you may even create specific game types not for immediate profit, but for the bonuses that support long-term strategies.
Hands-On Assets with Mini-Games
To complete a game, you’ll need assets—and each asset is created through its own mini-game. If that hands-on work becomes repetitive, the game offers ways to simplify or automate the process over time, letting you gradually shift from production into pure management.
Competition and Consequences
Management brings rivalry. Whether you work with NPCs or friends, keep an eye on motivation and opportunities: randomly generated tasks can tempt workers into actions that hurt your company for personal gain. You can also play aggressively against competitors, using tactics that pressure rival studios into selling shares for less.
Real-Time Pressure
The world runs on a real-time cycle. Expenses keep ticking, and projects won’t finish if you idle. You don’t need to fight a brutal timer—but working efficiently is the key to staying ahead.
