Echoes Runner

Echoes Runner is a compact puzzle platformer built around planning and precision. Each level imposes a limit on how many echoes you can place, so every move must be intentional. Use your echoes to map out the route, reach distant platforms, and navigate tricky layouts where speed and strategy collide.

Echoes appear as ghostly versions of yourself, with small particles trailing from them. They act as markers and navigational aids, helping you chart paths through complex terrain. Because you must work within an echo budget per level, you’ll need to think ahead, experiment with placements, and time your actions to progress.

When you unlock the dash, your character leaves a short black trail as you surge forward. Dashing introduces brief afterimages that mirror your movement, giving you a visual cue for timing and momentum. Use dash timing to cross gaps, accelerate through tight sections, and string movements together for efficient routes.

The puzzle aspect comes from balancing placement and movement. Plan where to drop echoes to create the necessary supports or routes, then execute it with precise dashes and jumps. Each level challenges you to compute the best combination of echoes and dash usage to reach the exit within the given limits.

Hidden throughout the game are little hats. Seek them out as you explore levels to customize your character’s appearance, adding a layer of collection and personalization beyond the core puzzle gameplay.
