Now or Later description

Now or Later

Play as Arlo, a treasure-hunting frog who has unlocked a game‑changing power: the Lotus Staff can make anything vanish into thin air. In this Zelda‑inspired open world, no door, obstacle, enemy, or dungeon is safe from your disappearing touch—yet the power is an “instant win button” that must be used with care.

Story and Goal

While treasure hunting, Arlo uncovers the legendary Lotus Staff. Word spreads that King Croakus is dying, and the king tasks Arlo with gathering rare ingredients to cure him. Arlo accepts, convinced his new ability can handle any challenge. But every disappearance has echoes, and the journey quickly reveals that nothing is ever truly erased—paths shift, NPCs vanish, and consequences linger.

Explore a Living World

Venture across Hydrosia in a sprawling, open world with diverse regions. Meet a cast of characters, dive into ancient ruins, and piece together cryptic clues that guide you toward the ingredients—and toward the truth behind the Lotus Staff.

Power, Progression, and Peril

As you explore and conquer dungeon trials, you unlock new abilities, stronger attacks, and fresh ways to wield the Lotus Staff. The more you press your advantage, the more the world responds to your choices.

Choose Your Path

Carve shortcuts through locations like an abandoned observatory, icy caves, and a blazing lake. Your decisions shape the map: blasting away NPCs can close routes or open new ones, side quests can become impossible, and the world bends to your actions.

Consequences and Reflection

Every use of deletion carries weight. The disappearance of objects and people isn’t just a shortcut—it can come back to haunt you, challenging you to balance power with wisdom in your quest to cure the king.
