Pirates of Pandama description

Pirates of Pandama

Pirates of Pandama is a fast-paced melee action rogue-lite about choice and freedom. It blends the tight, visceral melee feel of Chivalry 2 with the strategic experimentation of top-down rogue-lites in the spirit of Streets of Rogue.

Exploration unfolds on a hex map filled with points of interest, challenges, and upgrades that tailor each run. The airship is a major tool for navigation and access, yet the game supports a full run without it. You can hijack and destroy enemy ships, steal their cannons, and use the salvaged firepower to upgrade your own vessel—or simply seize the enemy ship itself if that suits your play.

Faction play centers on your choices. Up to three factions await your allegiance, each with a unique specialty. Your standing unlocks extra rest spots and a shop discount, letting you stretch your resources further. If you favor brute force, you can wipe towns and loot heavily through aggressive actions.

Combat emphasizes melee skill and timing. The system draws inspiration from Chivalry 2, delivering precise hits, blocks, parries, and ruthless executions as you weave through foes in top-down action. Every decision you make reshapes the city, the seas, and the loot you collect.

Progression works on two tracks. During each run you accumulate coins you can spend on upgrades and tools, while a hub builds up your long-term powers between sessions. You can send coins back to your hub for ongoing progression, so your efforts carry forward. If you fall, you’ll lose about 50% of your coins, but friendly towns let you return coins risk-free, enabling cautious recovery and continued momentum.

In short, Pirates of Pandama invites you to chart your own path: parley and raid, bargain and brawl, or command the sea lanes with a ruthless fleet. A flexible hex-map progression, ship hijacking, faction diplomacy, and a crisp melee system combine to fuel replayability and bold, high-stakes naval adventures across the archipelago.
