Remains is an exploration-focused adventure set in a post-post apocalyptic world reclaimed by nature. You play as a small robot who awakens alone in a quiet forest, surrounded by overgrowth and the remnants of a forgotten civilization. With no clear memory of how you got there, you set out to uncover clues about your identity, what happened to the world, and what role you might have in what’s left of it.

Travel through an interconnected landscape of moss-covered ruins, collapsed structures, and abandoned spaces slowly being swallowed by the environment. Each area invites careful observation and experimentation as you search for pathways forward, hidden keys, and traces of the past. The journey is as much about piecing together a mystery as it is about navigating the world itself.

Use tools to overcome obstacles and reach new places:

• Foam Gun — Spray expanding foam onto walls and surfaces to create platforms, build footholds, and form new routes through challenging sections.
• Vacuum — Switch between suction and blowing to interact with the environment: uncover concealed items, retrieve keys, and manipulate movement across slippery terrain or in underwater areas.

As you explore, you’ll also hunt for replacement parts to repair and improve yourself, helping you push deeper into the ruins. Remains emphasizes discovery, environmental problem-solving, and the quiet atmosphere of wandering through a world that has moved on—leaving you to sift through what’s left and decide what it all means.
