Not Gates is a large-scale logic building and simulation game inspired by “computer redstone,” focused on creating complex digital circuits from an intentionally minimal set of components. The core idea is simple: with only a handful of building blocks, you can still design surprisingly powerful systems—up to full computers and interactive projects.

Build big with very few gates. Your toolbox is deliberately small to keep learning approachable and to add a fun engineering challenge. You’ll work primarily with:

• NOT gates for inversion
• Wires that behave like redstone (effectively forming OR behavior)
• Diodes for direction/flow control
• ON sources
• Junctions to connect and route signals

Create advanced visuals and interaction. Not Gates supports 24-bit color screens and other display-style builds, enabling everything from status panels to vivid pixel outputs. You can also connect a keyboard input directly to your circuits, making it possible to interactively test logic, build tools, or even create playable mini-games driven entirely by your circuitry.

Efficient circuit editing tools. The editor is designed for building at scale. Use productivity-focused features like line placing, copy/paste, and fast ways to delete large areas so you can iterate quickly. You can also save and share blueprints, making it easy to reuse modules, publish designs, or maintain libraries of components such as adders, registers, and display drivers.

Fast, controllable simulation. Run large circuits smoothly and adjust the simulation speed at any moment. Need to inspect a timing issue or debug a tricky interaction? Pause whenever you want and continue after making changes.

A creative sandbox with room to grow. Not Gates is built around experimentation and learning through building. While the UI may feel less polished in places, the foundation is geared toward ambitious creations—especially for players who enjoy logic, optimization, and digital design.
