Buenos Aires Mirror Line description

Buenos Aires Mirror Line

A horror game set in the heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina. You awaken trapped in a looping nightmare where time and memory twist around a single, seemingly ordinary bus ride. I am not proud of what I have become—this is the voice that haunts you, exposing guilt and regret as you move through the city’s nocturnal streets. Something or someone has imprisoned you in this loop, and anomalies begin to surface, exposing a disturbing history you may have helped write. Each ride invites you to scrutinize your past, to reckon with choices you made, and to discover whether suffering can ever be undone.

Spot what doesn’t belong during the journey. The rule you’re told to follow says you must board the right bus thirteen times in a row to get out, but the truth is more elusive than a numbered escape. The path promises release, yet the more you repeat, the more you question who you are and what you owe to the people affected by your actions. The loop becomes a reflective test, a mirror that dims certainty and widens the gap between fate and responsibility. Each departure and return tightens the pressure as you weigh memory against consequence.

Buenos Aires Mirror Line is a short and intense psychological horror experience, designed for a compact window of play—from about 40 to 90 minutes. It blends exploration, observation, and puzzle-like moments as you navigate buses, stations, and strange urban passages. Through careful attention to details, you uncover a disturbing history and a story of introspection that asks not only how to escape, but how to come to terms with what your choices have wrought, and what you may become as a result.

The atmosphere is built with an experimental soundtrack based on Argentinian cumbia and reggaeton, lending a rhythm that can push you toward revelation or unease. The sound design makes the city feel both intimate and uncanny, where familiar streets twist and the ordinary becomes surreal. Every note and beat heightens tension, guiding you toward moments of clarity, doubt, and potential surrender as you chase elusive clues through the city’s mirrored corridors.

Inspired by surreal experiences such as Who’s At the Door and Exit 8, Buenos Aires Mirror Line delivers a focused, narrative-driven horror that prizes mood and meaning over spectacle. It also threads a mythic layer: help the deities, and maybe you’ll receive something in return. The city itself feels like a living participant in your introspection, urging you to decide how far you’ll go to break the loop—and what you’ll become in the process.
