S.N.A.P. — Description
Step into a first-person, run-based survival horror and hidden-object investigation set inside a rotting roadside dark ride. This carnival nightmare was built by a cannibal family, and your mission is to track, identify, and photograph cursed objects — each harboring the soul of a mutilated victim trapped within the ride.
You are strapped into a creaking cart and pushed through three deadly loops of the slaughterhouse-turned-attraction. The route is fixed, but every run is randomized: object lists, scares, animatronics, entities, and anomalies shift with each attempt. It’s not a scripted haunted house; it’s a roguelite experience that rebuilds itself every time you enter.
A full run lasts roughly 15–20 minutes, but danger never pauses. Some props twitch, bodies move, and animatronics watch—or occasionally climb aboard. The fused remains of the cannibal family stalk you, reacting to your movement, your mistakes, and your camera.
Your tools are scarce and imperfect: a dying headlight, a janky speed lever, a horn that won’t save you, and a camera that neutralizes cursed objects only when you frame them perfectly. Miss a shot, hesitate for a second, or misread the room and the house will kill you. Slowing down can save you — or lure something to your cart. Pushing too fast might escape a room—only to dash you into an ambush.
The objective is clear but perilous: find every cursed object, free every soul, and survive all three loops. The ride is alive, it remembers you, and it hates being seen.
- Run-Based Survival Horror: 15–20 minute attempts with escalating threats and constant tension.
- Hidden-Object Investigation: Hunt and photograph cursed items using a camera that requires perfect framing.
- Dynamic Horror System: Shifting props, stalking entities, reacting animatronics, and changing anomalies each run.
- Rogue-lite Structure: New object placements and dangers on every start.
- Instant-Death Encounters: Precision and timing are mandatory; hesitation is deadly.
- Survival Mechanics: Control speed, lights, camera framing, direction changes, and cart resets.
With a grindhouse tone, grim gore, cannibal lore, and a minimalist, oppressive score, S.N.A.P. delivers a relentless, unforgiving horror that rewards precision and nerve.
