Step into a deadly simulation where Phalaen’s quest drives you through a roguelite card‑battler forged from chance and choice. Survive a sequence of procedurally generated trials by building a flexible toolkit from cards, dice, artifacts, and spellbooks, all tuned to reshape every run.

What you do

Pick a profession and dive into a randomly generated map. You’ll face lethal battles, treasure events to bolster your inventory, table‑top events resolved by dice rolls, merchants to stock up on supplies, and safe zones to rest and recalibrate. Each run is distinct, with new layouts, foes, and opportunities driving inventive play.

Build your fate

Your power comes from a diverse toolkit designed to change the course of combat and exploration:

• Cards: over 30 unique effects that can deal health or energy damage, or unleash abilities to tilt fights in your favor.
• Dice: earned freely at the start of turns to fuel crucial effects as encounters scale in intensity.
• Spellbooks: always‑in‑hand items that rely on cooldowns rather than consuming actions or energy points.
• Artifacts: static objects of power that trigger on events to grant you the upper hand.

Manage resources carefully. Action and energy points drive your strongest moves, and running out of energy blocks your most powerful cards. Excess energy can be converted into direct damage on your opponent’s health, adding a further layer of resource strategy.

Themes, rewards, and progression

Rewards are shaped by themes. Each reward pool includes items tied to the current theme, letting you steer the development of your build. You can swap themes mid‑run as fresh rewards appear, enabling deliberate or reactive playstyles that respond to evolving opportunities.

Replayability and story

The game emphasizes replay value: balance risk and reward by choosing immediate rewards or shards for permanent upgrades. Use shards to permanently enhance your capabilities and unlock different professions, each of which presets your dice inventory for subsequent runs. Each successful journey uncovers more of Phalaen’s story—who she is chasing, and why she entered this perilous gambit to find him.
