Project: Latticeborn is a fast-paced 3D action roguelite in which you control a Shardborn, a crystal-forged warrior born in The Bastion, your upgradeable home base. Each run hurls you into The Frontier, a shifting battleground filled with shard-corrupted enemies and elemental hazards. Dash, weave, and unleash automatic shard-powered attacks as swarms press in. Survive waves, collect resources, and push progress back to your Bastion to forge stronger successors. Death isn’t an end—it’s part of the cycle.

Explosive Frontier and Combat

The Frontier is procedurally generated, ensuring every run is fresh and challenging. You move through fast-paced, up-close encounters and rely on agility to dodge, weave, and stay alive while your auto-attacks churn out relentless shard power. Hazards mix with enemies to demand smart positioning and reaction time, turning each arena into a test of rhythm and aim.

Upgrade Loop and Bastion

Between runs, return to The Bastion to expand your options. Unlock new weapons, meta-upgrades, run modifiers, class unlocks, and building levels. Your Bastion grows visibly as you progress, unlocking more space, services, and strategic choices that shape future runs.

Weapons and Synergies

Master 10+ unique weapon types, each with its own core mechanics. Examples include orbiting shard blades, homing projectiles, cone shockwaves, nova bursts, elemental bombs, soul-stealing scythes, and chain-smash maces. You can upgrade general stats or weapon-specific traits to forge powerful synergies that fit your preferred playstyle. Dozens of weapon types create a wide space for experimentation and replayability.

Elemental System

All weapons interact with an elemental status system. Inflict burning, freezing, lightning chains, lifesteal void slashes, verdant healing blooms, and aether fields. Combine elements to trigger explosive reactions and chain effects that swing outcomes in your favor during crowded fights.

Build Your Shardborn

Every run shapes your build. Mix count upgrades, cooldown reductions, element potency, range, and projectile speed with unique weapon effects. Every death is a doorway to rebuilding a stronger Shardborn, keeping progress persistent across runs.
