Punishing, impactful combat: adopt a favored weapon and engage in heavy, tactical fights against brutal enemies. Each clash tests timing, resource management, and position as you push through handcrafted environments. Boss encounters recur, inviting repeated attempts and deep mastery as you learn their rhythms and exploit your upgrades.

Co‑op or solo play: team up with up to three friends for cooperative challenge, or tackle the desert alone at a pace that suits you. Playing with others changes the dynamics of battles, but the world’s hazards persist, demanding coordination, patience, and precise execution from everyone involved.

Blessings, relics, and patron gifts: progress unlocks a diverse toolkit of upgrades—blessings from enigmatic deities, gifts from a hidden patron, and ancient relics to wield on your pilgrimage. Experiment with countless builds and strategies to craft a playstyle that fits your strengths and adapts to every run’s twists.

Curse and Awareness systems: every run begins with unpredictable variables. The Curse injects miniboss pursuit, environmental hazards, and other modifiers, keeping each expedition fresh and dangerous. The Awareness system layers additional difficulty, ensuring consistent escalation as you survive deeper into the desert’s trials.

Explore a living desert and its mysteries: traverse imposing vistas, ruined temples, and sacred cathedrals as you uncover the world’s secrets. The desert is split between the nomadic Majin, who guard the sands and ruins, and the proud Attar’Esh, whose cathedrals loom over cities and sanctuaries. Each faction holds lore, loot, and challenges that influence your route and strategies.

Story: a creator’s vengeance: you are a scion awakened by Magnolia, the withering tree god. Your sole purpose is to vanquish the rival gods and usurpers who govern the land. To restore the desert’s bloom, you must embrace violence, master your powers, and outthink impossible odds.
