The Cradle description
The Cradle
The Cradle is a first-person psychological horror game set inside the abandoned headquarters of Synergy Soft. You play as Alex, a journalist drawn to a case the authorities labeled “mass psychosis”: six months ago, the entire staff suddenly went insane, triggering a brutal massacre that left the building silent and sealed. You don’t believe the official story—and the deeper you step into the darkened office, the more the truth seems to listen back.
The workplace has become a frozen crime scene: smashed desks, scattered personal items, and desperate suicide notes litter the corridors. The air is unnaturally still, yet the shadows refuse to stay in place. With only a flashlight and limited power, you must push forward through rooms where something is wrong in ways you can’t immediately explain.
What you’ll do
- Explore a sprawling office labyrinth—from standard work areas to the director’s luxurious office, down into an underground laboratory, and up to hidden rooms on the second floor.
- Search for keys, batteries, and passages to unlock sealed doors, restore your light, and reach new sections of the complex.
- Solve environmental puzzles that gate progress and reveal how the company’s routine turned into a nightmare.
- Piece together the incident by collecting notes, audio diaries, and reports that slowly expose the “Silence Protocol,” the identity of “The Acoustician,” and the director’s final experiment.
Horror built on silence
Fear in The Cradle isn’t just atmosphere—it’s a mechanic. Your survival depends on how you move, how much noise you make, and when you choose to stop. Sometimes the smartest action is to freeze and hold your breath, letting danger pass in the dark.
Expect a tense, story-driven descent into an office that once represented success, now transformed into a place where the unknown hides behind every door—and where silence may be the most terrifying sound of all.
