Cargo Hunters

Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE shooter where you pilot a remote-controlled humanoid robot to scour a decaying Earth for scarce resources. Explore ruined landscapes, collect loot, but remember: you can lose everything once you’re defeated. Each run feeds your shelter, your gear, and your chances to endure the merciless world.

The loop is harsh and precise: scavenge, fight, and survive. Between expeditions you can build and reinforce a shelter, plan your next move, and adjust your loadout to outsmart evolving threats. The environment is hostile, the dangers are constant, and every choice matters.

The setting unfolds after a climate catastrophe that spawned superviruses and collapsed civilization. Wealthier factions escaped to classified sanctuaries during the so‑called Second Exodus, paying fortunes to reclaim their glittering remnants. Now it’s your job to retrieve, craft, steal, or barter—whatever it takes to survive, and to escape with what you brought back.

You define the pace and the method: brute force, stealth, opportunistic theft, meticulous crafting, or savvy trading. Take what you can, but carrying capacity, weight, noise, and the robot’s condition constrain every decision. If you fail, the loot is lost and so is your progress for that run.

The world is dead, but the loot isn’t. You already inhabit a human-shaped body, so you can wear human clothes or armor, use their weapons, and even swap replaceable limbs. Dismember the fallen, harvest body parts, and recycle what you don’t need—that is the daily routine in this harsh homeland.

Choose your weapons wisely. A vast array of firearms comes with different specs, ballistics, ammo types, modifications, and handling. You’ll balance power, reliability, and risk as you decide between blunt tools, ranged kits, and everything in between. More gear means more trouble—and more fun.
