Bridge Orders - Outrim: The Unseen Enemy description

Bridge Orders - Outrim: The Unseen Enemy

Bridge Orders - Outrim: The Unseen Enemy is a single-player, story-driven sci-fi strategy game centered entirely on command decisions made from the bridge. You don’t pilot ships in real time or fire weapons yourself; instead, you lead your crew through a disciplined tactical loop: Observation → Judgment → Command. Your role is to interpret the battlefield, decide priorities, and issue orders that shape the engagement.

Command from the Bridge

Every mission is built around receiving information—sensor readings, radar results, and officer reports—then turning that information into clear directives. You are the commander who determines what should be targeted, when to engage, and how aggressively to proceed. Battles unfold through your decisions, not reflexes, emphasizing situational awareness and leadership under uncertainty.

Story: An Enemy You Can’t See

In a remote garrison on the outskirts of the Galactic Peace Federation Aurelia Concordia, a string of seemingly impossible battleship sinkings shakes the Outrim sector. You step into the role of Mu Griffith, a quantum physicist and radar researcher promoted to captain after proving the value of Quantum Interference Waves (QIW) during Operation AO. With your crew—including QIW radar operator Remy Kirishima, executive officer Riley Drake, operations officer Rio Rutherford, ship operator Philip Liu, and medical officer Michaela Bernard—you investigate the truth behind these incidents and confront the threat known as the “Phantom Fleet.”

Progression Through Firepower

There is no traditional character leveling. Instead, the campaign expands your options by granting access to stronger battleships and more powerful weapons as the story advances. Increased capability opens new tactical approaches, letting you refine how you handle each engagement as the stakes rise.

Protect the QIW Advantage

Remy Kirishima is currently the only crew member capable of operating QIW radar. Overworking her can reduce your ability to track enemies reliably—turning your greatest advantage into a fragile resource. Balancing mission demands with crew welfare becomes part of the challenge, adding a leadership layer beyond pure tactics.

Early Access Content

The current Early Access build includes Episodes 1–3 of a planned ~10-episode campaign, offering roughly 30 minutes of playtime depending on your approach. You’ll experience your deployment to the Outrim sector, the first encounters with the Phantom Fleet, and the full core gameplay loop of commanding through reports, data, and decisive orders.
