Hue Quest (Beta 0.08)

Hue Quest is an early-access, story-driven puzzle experience where a single mistake turns you into a target. After hacking into a cleverly disguised executable, you uncover traces of an underground agency—its hidden motives, its secrets, and the reasons behind its collapse. Now you’re wanted, and every action you take risks exposing your location.

Your goal is survival through caution and deduction: keep your IP masked, keep your generator running, and avoid any connection that could lead the outside world straight to you. The tension comes from operating in isolation, piecing together information while staying one step ahead of whatever is hunting you.

Core Gameplay

• Color-matching progression: Certain doors only open when you match your selected color to the background within a specific timeframe.
• Score-based access: Some doors require particular scores. You won’t be handed these values—you must discover them.
• Environmental searching: Explore your room carefully to find the clues and the “specific scores” needed to advance.

Atmosphere & Story

As the program “guides your every step,” the narrative unfolds through your investigation: why the agency fell, what it was hiding, and why your intrusion made you a threat. The tone blends paranoia and curiosity, pushing you to observe, experiment, and interpret what you find.

Early Access Note

This is a beta build, and the game is still evolving. Expect an in-progress experience with core ideas in place and additional content planned.
