The God Slayer

Long ago, the Celestials shaped the world and forged the energy of qi within every living being. Those mortal practitioners who learned to mold qi into elemental powers—fire, water, earth, metal, and wood—became Elemancers. The Celestials, seeing such desecration of divine order, launched a brutal purge on the Zhou Kingdom during the night now known as the God Fall. Cheng, whose family fell to their hands, must rise to save his people and avenge his loved ones.

To survive and prevail, you will learn to harness and sharpen elemental powers, recover ancient scrolls and learn from elemental masters, and refine the flow of qi within your body. With enough discipline, you can challenge even the mightiest Celestials.

Elemental magic in this world interplays in real-time: fire feeds on wood, water quenches fire, steam rises from boiling water, earth can block or hinder. Your strategy is up to you—master the interactions, tailor your movements, and outthink your foes in battle.

The Celestials are still revered by many, but their God Fall crimes left scars. A movement has risen: the Star Fall Society, led by the enigmatic Master and supported by capable Elemancers. They seek to expel Celestials from the world. Cheng finds himself a willing ally in their mission; together they push toward humanity's future.

The game unfolds in the capital city of the Zhou Kingdom, a hub where two great rivers meet the Eastern Sea. The city is alive with steam technology: airships, steamboats, monorails, and steam vehicles. In the wealthier districts, air-conditioned homes and mechanized conveniences define the good life; in the poorer neighborhoods, workers toil in soot-blackened factories and bow beneath the weight of noble privilege.

Factions and rivalries shape every move. You must cultivate allies, trade favors, and bribe officials to gain even the smallest advantage against the Celestial army and their collaborators. But beware—eyes are everywhere, and a single mistake can end everything you hold dear. The path to justice is perilous, but the Star Fall Society and your evolving powers offer a glimmer of hope.

Prepare to navigate a city of steam and destiny, wield elemental power with intelligent, dynamic interactions, and write your own legend in a world torn by divine rule and mortal courage.
