A creature’s laughter, panic, or tears signal a rule in motion, and when it cries, the illusion binding that being’s happiness cracks open.

A Pastoral Hell: On the surface the realm gleams with rainbow meadows, talking bunnies, and friendly unicorns. Beneath the sheen, something is very wrong—the creatures are glossy-eyed and too cheerful, the clouds hum with unsettling harmony. It’s a paradise that wants you to smile, yet you sense something gnawing at the edges.

Break the Illusion: Some illusions are anchored to particular entities. Their happiness acts as a spell that holds reality together. Make them cry, and the spell fractures. Behind each illusion you’ll uncover hidden passages, suppressed memories, twisted hints left by previous victims, and scattered fragments of your own mind. Each revelation shifts the world and opens new routes.

Reassemble Your Mind: Your mind has been shattered and projected onto the landscape. When you dispel an illusion, you gain a word, a question, or a fragment of meaning.
