Three centuries after humanity faced extinction at the hands of The Drone Collective, a doomed station named Foothold Beta attempted to fold spacetime to survive. A tragic accident left Foothold and a web of linked systems stranded in flat spacetime. Now, strange entities, drones, and old enemies spill into the folded void, and it falls to you to cart a pest control through the chaos.

Your ship is you. Begin piloting a small light civilian craft and rise to become a fleet commander. Earn credits, forge alliances with surviving Terran factions, and unlock a wide range of ships and equipment. With nearly limitless customization options, you can tailor a vessel to fit the threats you expect to face.

Learn to read each piece of equipment by its technical name and always carry a full spare charge container—you never want to run out of power for your weapons or repair bots at the worst moment. Exploration is core to the experience: maps are lovingly handcrafted and may hide stations, jumpgates, or unmapped wormholes. An empty minimap can still reveal hidden paths and opportunities.

Every map presents a unique set of enemies. Not all are hostile, and some will relentlessly pursue you. Some foes are a gold mine of rewards, others spell near-certain doom. Nearly every encounter carries a thread of story from the surrounding world, inviting you to uncover the larger narrative as you travel deeper into space.

There are no limits to where you can roam—only the odds you survive. Accept contracts from stations to guide your journey, or explore freely to discover extra credits and improved relations. A handful of named enemies await your hunt if you choose to seek them out.

Optional multiplayer is available for sharing experiences with friends. In the demo, multiplayer remains functional until the full game is released, offering a preview of cooperative and competitive play. Prepare for a spacefaring adventure where strategy, exploration, and consequence shape the drift between galaxies.
