Kanji Collect!

Kanji Collect! is an educational game where you must identify the correct kanji using hints from a TV-robot instructor. He demonstrates each character through its on’yomi and kun’yomi readings, and your task is to select the correct symbol.

• Extensive kanji library: 2,209 kanji, covering nearly all JLPT levels.
• Two main modes:
  • Fast Game — freely choose the level and the number of kanji, with unlimited hints to tailor your study pace.
  • Adventure Mode — a challenging journey from N5 to N1 that requires you to collect all 2,209 kanji. Each level has a different number of allowed hints and mistakes.
• Kana training mode — dedicated practice for hiragana and katakana to build a solid foundation before tackling kanji.
• Detailed kanji information — for every character you see how it is used in context, helping you memorize and recall more effectively as you progress.

How it works: follow the TV-robot’s guidance, listen to the readings, and select the correct kanji symbol. The emphasis on on’yomi and kun’yomi helps you learn both pronunciations and recognition in practical contexts.

Fast Game provides learning freedom: set the exact number of kanji, pick the level, and use hints as needed to study in a way that fits you. Adventure Mode offers a structured challenge that scales in difficulty while you aim to collect every kanji in the database.

Hiragana/Katakana Mode is designed for beginners, guiding you through identifying the correct syllables as you build confidence for further Japanese language study.
