みちくさワンダラー description

みちくさワンダラー

Overview: Enter a charming 2.5D fantasy world rendered in cute artwork where battles appear as symbolic encounters. There is no overarching plot forcing your steps—you can roam freely, hunt monsters, cook meals, or simply wander at your own pace. The experience emphasizes personal rhythm over rigid goals, letting you define what “progress” means as you play.

Freedom and pace: This is a free RPG with no restrictions. The world and its monsters exist without mandatory quests or required milestones. You follow Erin, a dragonkin girl, as she travels through diverse lands. Powerful bosses lurk, but confronting them is optional; you may skip them until you feel ready, savoring quiet exploration or fast action as you prefer.

Monsters and discovery: The world is alive with cute, cool, and bizarre creatures. You may hunt them for resources, eat them to recover, or log their traits to complete a monster encyclopedia. Combat is one tool among many, and you can choose to interact with creatures in non-lethal ways. Companions can join you for larger challenges, bringing color and personality to the journey.

Erin’s hunger and cooking: Erin carries a Satiety gauge that drains over time and during battles. When it reaches zero, her HP drops and she risks starvation. To survive, you cook meals from ingredients obtained from monsters, manage satiety between expeditions, and plan rests and meals to keep her healthy on the road.

World lore and past: While there is no central story, the world holds a hidden history you can uncover. By defeating field bosses, you gain fragments of that past—answers to questions like why there are no Demon Lords or Heroes and why humans have vanished. Bosses are formidable, rewarding preparation and careful tactics.

Roguelite dungeons: Scattered across the world are roguelite dungeons with randomized floors and saving disabled, creating tense, unpredictable exploration. You must weigh courage against caution: push forward to seek loot and lore, or retreat to regroup. Each dive rearranges the rules, delivering fresh challenges on every visit.

Companions and battles: Although mainly a solo journey, you can call on colorful allies for mighty battles. These companions offer distinct personalities and abilities, supporting you in crucial moments while enriching the atmosphere of exploration with their interactions and quirks.

Engine and notes: The game is built with RPG Developer Bakin. System requirements follow the engine, and localization is not yet decided, reflecting ongoing development. Expect a title that blends exploration, survival, and playful combat in a world where your choices shape every step of the journey.
