In this room, trust is suicide. UNKNOWN FACES turns every conversation into a mind game, every glance into a clue, and every silence into a threat. A cinematic social deduction experience built on fear, logic, and betrayal.

Core idea

You sit at a table with masked strangers. Some are hidden killers plotting to kill the others. The rest must survive, reason, and vote to expose them before it’s too late. If you’re the killer, deceive and eliminate without revealing your identity. If you’re not, read the room, choose your words carefully, and survive the paranoia while hunting the culprit. Every statement can expose you; every silence can convict.

Round flow

1. Role Voting — the special roles act in secret: The Mafia selects a target to kill; the Detective investigates a player to check if they’re Mafia; the Doctor protects a player from being killed.
2. Discussion Time — players talk, accuse, defend, and mislead.
3. Voting Time — everyone votes for the suspected Mafia. The top-voted player moves to Explain Time to defend themselves.
4. Explain Time — the accused speaks to win support. Afterward, another vote decides fate. If the same player is voted again, they die. If a different player is voted, that person enters Explain Time next. If no one is voted, the round ends and the game continues.

Economy & items

Earn money each round and spend it on items that influence survival and voting. Options include

• Protection from the Mafia
• Protection from votes
• Information from the Detective
• Mystery Box

Purchases can save you or suddenly put a target on your back.

Roles

• Mafia — eliminate one player each round
• Doctor — protect a player (or themselves) from the Mafia
• Detective — investigate a player each round to uncover Mafia
• Civilian — no special powers; rely on speech and votes
• Sheriff — can shoot any player; correct shot kills Mafia, wrong shot kills the Sheriff
• Clown — wins if voted out
• Thief — if the Doctor or Detective dies, steal their role once and gain their ability
